Basketball Recap: Dynamic Prep Piles Up the Points Against Lancaster

Dynamic Prep is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Lancaster. Dynamic Prep took their game with ease, bagging a 101-58 win over the Lancaster Bruins. Dynamic Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 33 points or more this season.

Carlsheon Young was nothing short of spectacular: he almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Hampton, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 12 points.

When it comes to explaining why Lancaster lost, don't look at Jordan Watford. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 19 on his way to 26 points along with six assists and three steals. That's the most assists Watford has posted since back in December of 2023. Rj Brown was another key player, going 5 for 12 on his way to 12 points.

Dynamic Prep is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Lancaster, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Dynamic Prep and Chambers will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Dynamic Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Chambers likes a good challenge. Lancaster will take on Northwestern in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Lancaster is facing Northwestern at the right time seeing as Northwestern is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
