Softball Recap: Valencia Comes Up Short

Valencia saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 10-1 to the Saint Joseph Jesters. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valencia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Risner, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Valencia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Saint Joseph, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.

Coincidentally, Valencia and Saint Joseph will both be playing Foothill the next time they take the field. Saint Joseph will head out to face Foothill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Valencia will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
