Basketball Game Preview: Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs vs. South Central Falcons

Northside - Jacksonville is 0-7 against South Central since December of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs will head out to face off against the South Central Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Northside - Jacksonville is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They were outmatched by J.H. Rose and fell 58-30. While losing is never fun, the Monarchs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Rampants are ranked 71st).

Meanwhile, South Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 66-57 to New Bern.

South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Northside - Jacksonville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
