Woodlawn lost against the Chicago Military Academy Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Woodlawn took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chicago Military Academy. That's two games in a row now that Woodlawn has lost by exactly five points.

Chicago Military Academy had a senior duo take command as Taylor Jackson scored 15 points and Giamiah Ivory-Goss scored 11 points.

Woodlawn now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Chicago Military Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-2.

Woodlawn will head out on the road to face off against Dunbar at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunbar comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Chicago Military Academy, they will be playing at home against Back of the Yards College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Back of the Yards College Prep's defense has only allowed 20.5 points per game this season, so Chicago Military Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Chicago Military Academy.
