It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Morton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Sundown Roughnecks out 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since January 19, 2024.

Sundown lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kye Powell, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was AdAn EscAmillA, who went 6 for 14 en route to 13 points.

Morton's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game.
