Basketball Recap: First Coast Comes Up Short

First Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bolles Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 57-49 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

First Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bolles, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

First Coast will take on Fletcher in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Buccaneers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Bolles, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bradford at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
