Volleyball Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss

Meridian lost against Warrensburg-Latham back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Meisenhelter paced Meridian's offense, picking up eight kills. Meisenhelter got some help from Gigi Pramuk and her nine assists. Finally, Nora Roush kept Meridian's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Meridian's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Meridian has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on the 15th. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Arthur-Okaw Christian on the 17th.
