Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Local Trojans vs. Greeneview Rams

Southeastern Local is 1-9 against Greeneview since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Trojans will challenge the Rams at 7:30 p.m. Southeastern Local has given up an average of 60.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Southeastern Local and Catholic Central meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Irish 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since December 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, Greeneview was able to grind out a solid victory over Madison Plains on Friday, taking the game 70-62. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Southeastern Local's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Greeneview, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Southeastern Local couldn't quite get it done against Greeneview in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 as they fell 52-39. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
