Soccer Recap: Wilson Victorious

Wilson won the last time they faced Spruce and things went their way on Friday too. The Wilson Wildcats came out on top against the Spruce Timberwolves by a score of 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Spruce, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson will host Poteet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Poteet will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Wilson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Spruce, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Seagoville at 7:30 p.m.
