Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Gets the Win

Heritage Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Oswego on Saturday. The Chargers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

While Heritage Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Oswego saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaycee Schulz had nine digs and two aces.

Heritage Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-15-2. As for Oswego, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Heritage Christian Academy will square off against Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oswego, they will head out to take on Pleasanton on Tuesday.
