Basketball Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan lost against South Harrison back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Milan Wildcats took a 55-41 bruising from the South Harrison Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Milan lost, don't look at Keaton T Weter. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 17 on his way to 18 points and four steals. Those four steals gave T Weter a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Memphis Cole, who posted six points.

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for South Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Milan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-50 defeat against Putnam County on the 10th. As for South Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-44 loss against Maysville on the 10th.
