Soccer Recap: The Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Christian Academy lost against Gloucester County Christian back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Christian Academy fell just short of Gloucester County Christian by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, The Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 431st in Pennsylvania, while Gloucester County Christian is ranked 24th in New Jersey).

This is the second loss in a row for The Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-5-1. As for Gloucester County Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Christian Academy will take on Faith Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gloucester County Christian, they will square off against American Christian School at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Gloucester County Christian will be up against American Christian School's rather soft defense (which has allowed 8.4 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
