Basketball Recap: Mill Valley Piles Up the Points Against Spring Hill

Mill Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They breezed by the Spring Hill Broncos to the tune of 65-37. The Jaguars pushed the score to 60-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Broncos cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Spring Hill still got an impressive performance from Martin Frigon, who posted 12 points. Grant Gebhards also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first board of the season.

Mill Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Spring Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Mill Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Olathe South on the 24th. As for Spring Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gardner-Edgerton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
