Grand Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Moffat County since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cardinals will face off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Moffat County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Grand Valley, who comes in off a win.

Grand Valley took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against Colorado Rocky Mountain, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Oysters on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Grand Valley as it put an end to their 11-game losing streak.

Lexi DeMaio was the driving force of Grand Valley's attack as she scored both of Grand Valley's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Moffat County was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to Vail Christian. Moffat County haven't had much luck with Vail Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Grand Valley's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Moffat County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything went Grand Valley's way against Moffat County in their previous matchup back in March, as Grand Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
