Soccer Recap: Wadsworth Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wadsworth kept a clean sheet against Revere on Monday. They beat the Minutemen by a goal, winning 1-0. Even though Wadsworth got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Athena Craig was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Wadsworth's one-goal win came courtesy of Korrine Braunlich, who's now up to three this season.

The win was the third in a row for Wadsworth, bringing their record up to 4-6-2. As for Revere, with the loss, they broke their nine-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-3-1.

Coincidentally, Wadsworth and Revere will both be playing Stow-Munroe Falls the next time they take the pitch. The Grizzlies will head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Minutemen will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
