If Burney was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Dunsmuir on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Weed Cougars on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
