Basketball Recap: Sherburne-Earlville Has No Trouble Against South Kortright Central

On Saturday, the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders made easy work of the South Kortright Central Rams and carried off a 49-28 victory. That looming 49-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Marauders yet this season.

The win got Sherburne-Earlville back to even at 3-3. As for South Kortright Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherburne-Earlville will take on Cooperstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cooperstown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Sherburne-Earlville likes a good challenge. As for South Kortright Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against Laurens Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
