The home team had won the previous six meetings between Venice and Carson, and Carson kept the tradition alive. The Gondoliers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in February.

Venice dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Carson, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3-1.

Venice has already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Fairfax on the 15th. As for Carson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Banning on the 15th.
