Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Quincy Thomas stepped things up a notch to give Ridgedale the 'W'. Thomas produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

Thomas' strong effort led Ridgedale over Vanlue and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats are limping into the matchup having lost 13 straight at home dating back to last season.
