Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lopez). They blew past the Porter Cowboys 69-46 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-45 back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Porter lost, don't look at Joshua Shogreen. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Shogreen a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Eduardo Garza, who earned 14 points and five steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Lopez and bumps their season record up to 8-17. As for Porter, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lopez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 80-48 win against Donna North on the 10th. As for Porter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-34 victory against Donna on the 10th.
