Basketball Game Preview: Lake Placid Bombers vs. Chazy Eagles

The Lake Placid Bombers will challenge the Chazy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Placid will be strutting in after a victory while Chazy will be coming in after a loss.

Lake Placid is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 65-58 win over Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central on Friday.

It was another big night for Seb Cecunjanin, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds. The game was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Brendan Murphy was another key player, putting up six points and six steals.

Lake Placid was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Chazy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Bolton Central and fell 70-33. Chazy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-16.

Chazy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lake Placid, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.
