Baseball Recap: St. Bernard Extends Home Winning Streak to 11

St. Bernard waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-3 on Tuesday.

Cedric Taylor was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Aidden Moten was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

St. Bernard's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games.
