Northside is 2-8 against Har-Ber since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Northside Grizzlies will face off against the Har-Ber Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Northside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Northside is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of Har-Ber.

For Har-Ber's part, LUKE CORNELISON was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. CORNELISON has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, one run, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

In other batting news, DAVIS DYER was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. AIDEN EVANS also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Har-Ber and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Northside has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Har-Ber struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
