Sands dropped down to 14-14 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Klondike Cougars, falling 46-22. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 29-25 on January 9th.

As for Klondike, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Grace Stevens, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. What's more, she also posted a 36% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Malia Arismendez, who went 5-for-11 en route to 12 points.
