Davenport and Beaver each have 60-point performances this season.

Gabe Davenport of Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, Tenn.) is high school basketball’s leading scorer nationally, according to statistics submitted to MaxPreps.

Davenport, a 6-foot-1 senior, is averaging 40.8 points per game and has scored at least 30 points in all but one game for Zion Christian Academy (8-5). Davenport is shooting 42 percent from the 3-point line and scored a career-high 64 points on Nov. 21.

At No. 2 on the list, sophomore Luke Beaver of North Georgia Christian Academy (Ellijay, Ga.) is putting up 38.1 points per game along with 6.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists. He has scored at least 30 points in seven straight games including 61 on Dec. 7.

Nijaun Harris of St. Petersburg (Fla.) is the top freshman on the list with an average of 32.0 points per game. Harris has five straight 30-point scoring games with a high of 46 this season.

Jason Crowe Jr. of Inglewood (Calif.) is worth a mention. The five-star would be near the top of the leaderboard but fell short of the minimum contests requirement. In six games he averages 35.7 points per game.
