Knightstown waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted against the Golden Eagles since September 26, 2019.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-19, 25-13.

Lanee Swindell paced Knightstown's offense, picking up ten kills. Swindell got some help from Jaycie Cole and her 19 assists. Cole was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Knightstown's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Knightstown is set to face off against their familiar foe Hagerstown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cambridge City Lincoln will take on rival Union City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
