Volleyball Recap: Crest Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ashbrook last Thursday, Crest came back down to earth. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Kings Mountain Mountaineers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Crest took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Crest lost, don't look at Casey Goodrum. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and two assists.

Crest moved to 14-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Kings Mountain, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 30-1.

As of now, neither Crest nor the Mountaineers have any future games scheduled.
