Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Austin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Bob Jones Patriots 43-12. With that victory, the Black Bears brought their scoring average up to 27.6 points per game.
Austin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Autumn Cassidy out in front who threw for 227 yards and five touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. Cassidy is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: she's passed for at least three every time she's taken the field this season. Zyriah Sessoms helped Cassidy out on the ground, rushing for 90 yards and one TD on only ten carries, while also picking up 57 receiving yards and one touchdown.
