Volleyball Recap: North Edgecombe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Edgecombe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

North Edgecombe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Rocky Mount Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Edgecombe is set to square off against their familiar foe Washington County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rocky Mount Prep will face off against rival Howard at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
