Basketball Recap: Edison Victorious

Edison lost to Corona del Mar back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Edison Chargers managed a 63-59 victory over the Corona del Mar Sea Kings. That's two games straight that the Chargers have won by exactly four points.

The win made it two in a row for Edison and bumps their season record up to 14-7. As for Corona del Mar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will challenge Marina at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Corona del Mar, they will head out to face off against Newport Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Corona del Mar knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Newport Harbor likes a good challenge.
