Football Recap: Gretna East Griffins vs. Gering Bulldogs
With a playoff game on the line, Gretna East rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Gering Bulldogs, posting a 44-7 victory. Considering the Griffins have won five matches by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Gretna East was led to victory by Carson Hermann and Seth Kraegel. Hermann picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Kraegel picked up 136 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kraegel really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 88 yards.
