Soccer Recap: Coventry Takes a Loss

Coventry lost against Field back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Comets came up short against the Falcons, falling 14-0. While losing is never fun, Coventry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 586th, while Field are ranked 173rd).

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Field, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Coventry has already played their next contest (against Woodridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Field, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Springfield on the 4th.
