Diamond came into Monday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Southwest Trojans 62-15. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Diamond's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Southwest, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Diamond and Cassville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwest, they will be home for the holidays to greet Exeter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
