Volleyball Recap: South Central's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

South Central was the 2-1 winner over Bucklin when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Timberwolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Aces on Saturday.

While South Central ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

South Central's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7-1. As for Bucklin, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

South Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Conway Springs on the 20th. As for Bucklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Medicine Lodge on the 20th.
