The Madison Trojans's five-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Taylor 77-39 on the road.
Madison's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Phillip Thomas, who scored 13 points. The matchup was Thomas' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Davonta Morgan-Collins was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Madison's win bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Taylor, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brentwood Christian the next time they take the court. Madison will head out to face Brentwood Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Taylor will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
