Basketball Recap: North Bend Takes a Loss

In Friday's Canine Competition, North Bend didn't have enough. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 78-62 to the North Marion Huskies. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, North Bend still got an impressive performance from Hunter Christensen, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Christensen is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. Owen Bascom was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.

North Bend's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for North Marion, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

North Bend wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 49-46 defeat against Junction City on the 21st. As for North Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-38 loss against Crook County on the 21st.
