Baseball Recap: Windham Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Windham took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Mathews, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bombers skirted past the Mustangs 7-6. While the Bombers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Windham pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Mathews, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Windham will face off against Maplewood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mathews, they will head out on the road to square off against Bristol at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
