Preview: Ethel vs. French Camp Academy
On Friday Ethel take on French Camp Academy at ETHEL HS at 7:00 PM. Ethel are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
It was all tied up at halftime, but Ethel weren't quite Vardaman's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Ethel came up short against Vardaman, falling 20-27. Ethel got a solid performance out of senior Kendal Dotson, who rushed for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Dotson has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.
Meanwhile, French Camp Academy were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their contest against Noxapater. French Camp Academy fell to Noxapater 27-36.
