Softball Recap: Bandera Takes a Loss

Bandera fell victim to Wimberley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Texans. The BULLDOGS' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 16 in a row.

Bandera saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cerissa Fernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Bandera's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Wimberley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bandera will take on rival Navarro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wimberley is set to face off against their familiar foe Fredericksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
