Softball Game Preview: Lansingburgh Knights vs. Schenectady Patriots

The Lansingburgh Knights will challenge the Schenectady Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lansingburgh is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Schalmont on Monday. They lost 15-2 to the Sabres. The Knights have struggled against the Sabres recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Lansingburgh saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Patregnani, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Schenectady had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against Schalmont two weeks ago, falling 20-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Lansingburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Schenectady, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
