Football Recap: Montezuma Comes Up Short

Montezuma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through an 82-8 loss at the hands of the Twin Cedars Sabers. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sabers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Montezuma now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Twin Cedars, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Montezuma will challenge rival Baxter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Twin Cedars is set to take on their familiar foe Moravia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
