Basketball Recap: Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Takes a Loss

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] was the 46-43 winner over Orion when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans came up short against the Orion Chargers on Saturday, falling 50-29. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 21 points.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Orion, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fulton the next time they take the court. Orion will host Fulton at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
