Basketball Recap: Tenor Piles Up the Points Against Cristo Rey

Tenor was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cristo Rey on Thursday. Tenor took their game with ease, bagging a 65-37 win over the Cristo Rey Trailblazers. Tenor has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Tenor was led to victory by Shane Emanuel and Anton Bounds. Emanuel went 8 for 13 on his way to 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Bounds dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. Bounds has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawan Sloan, who went 5 of 12 en route to 10 points and three steals.

Tenor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Tenor's record is now 8-6. As for Cristo Rey, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
