Soccer Recap: Spring Hill Comes Up Short

Spring Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Spring Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shelbyville Central, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Hill will face off against Columbia Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shelbyville Central, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Shelbyville Central take on Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
