Ottoville has gone 7-1 against Elida recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Ottoville Big Green will head out on the road to take on the Elida Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Ottoville will be strutting in after a victory while Elida will be coming in after a loss.

Ottoville is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Jefferson: they outscored them in every quarter. Ottoville took down Jefferson 61-42 on Saturday. Given the Big Green's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Wildcats are ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Elida came up short against Bryan on Saturday and fell 62-52. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Ottoville and bumps their season record up to 16-2. As for Elida, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

Everything went Ottoville's way against Elida when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Ottoville made off with a 70-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ottoville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
