While Cox Mill put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Northwest Cabarrus. The Cox Mill Chargers were the clear victor by an 11-0 margin over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Braden Greene tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Drew Bonhag and Trendyn Motley did most of the damage at the plate: Bonhag fired off two home runs and three runs while going 2-for-3, while Motley scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Bonhag a new career-high in home runs. Another player making a difference was Tyler Hicks, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3.

Cox Mill lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwest Cabarrus didn't launched any home runs.

The win got Cox Mill back to even at 1-1. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Cox Mill will venture away from home to face off against A.L. Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give A.L. Brown their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they will host South Rowan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
