Kade Pape Turns in Season-Best Effort
Marion was led to victory by Kade Pape, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pape rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory made it two in a row for Marion and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Pape and Marion will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ingram Moore at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
