Mater Dei had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Liberty Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Mater Dei's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1.

Coincidentally, Mater Dei and Liberty will both be playing Quincy the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
