Baseball Recap: Hightstown Gets the Win

Hightstown won the last time they faced West Windsor-Plainsboro South and things went their way on Wednesday too. Hightstown walked away with an 8-4 win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Dominick Terranova tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Anthony Benitez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Krier, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Hightstown's record is now 2-0. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hightstown will face off against Steinert at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, they will challenge Allentown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
