Starr's Mill kept a clean sheet against Jonesboro on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Cardinals. Considering Starr's Mill have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Jonesboro from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Olivia Shaw led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Starr's Mill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 58 goals over those eight contests. Jonesboro's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Starr's Mill will take on Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonesboro, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on April 15.
